A London taxi driver was severely injured when his taxi was the middle vehicle in a rear end shunt involving two HGVs. He suffered several fractured vertebrae requiring surgery and a protracted and complex in patient treatment.
Following the letter of claim to the HGV driver’s insurers, the team was able to secure an early care and rehabilitation package which allowed the claimant to be discharged and come home.
On settlement, he received a lump sum and on-going provision of care in his own home for the rest of his life which supported his wife, and dramatically improved his quality of life.
