Cyclist Injured in Road Traffic Accident

Nockolds took over conduct of a case from other solicitors where a cyclist had suffered severe injuries when he was involved in a road traffic accident whilst out cycling with his club.

A vehicle turned right across his path and he was struck-head on. Our client suffered serious injuries to his knee, wrist and chest, as well as a psychological injury. His injuries resulted in ongoing symptoms of pain and suffering which affected his ability to run his business. He was a keen cyclist and unfortunately his injuries prevented him from participating in this important hobby.

Liability was admitted but the medical evidence and the value of the claim was disputed.

Within nine months of taking over conduct of the claim, we had obtained updated medical evidence and were successful in reaching a very good settlement for the client which has given him the compensation that he deserves.
