Oliver joined Nockolds in 2021 and is a Partner in our Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts Department.
He specialises in all aspects of private client work, and he has a particular interest in advising clients who are resident or domiciled outside of the UK and who have assets abroad, working closely with our colleagues at Nockolds Lawyers Spain.
Oliver is experienced in advising all clients, including high net-worth individuals and international clients, in relation to their wills and estate/succession planning. He also advises clients in relation to lasting powers of attorney (including the protection of vulnerable persons from abuse), registering enduring powers of attorney, deputyship and other court of protection issues, setting up and managing trusts, tax planning and other associated work.
Oliver is qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) holding a Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales) and Advanced Certificates in both UK Taxation for International Clients as well as Cross Border Estates. He is also the Essex and East Anglia regional director of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (previously Solicitors for the Elderly) and a Dementia Friends champion.
Oliver aims to be communicative, clear and concise with his clients to ensure that they understand the advice given without question. He enjoys getting to know his clients so that he can offer a tailored and personable service.
