Training line managers is a critical activity and should be recognised as part of the company overall strategy. HR teams can provide guidance on the relevant employment policies, however line managers should be aware of relevant employment laws associated. Having some knowledge of these laws will ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees and can avoid lengthy and costly tribunal claims.
