As part of its continued support for its Charity of the Year, Nockolds Solicitors is pleased to announce that this year’s Charity Challenge is a 35-mile trek along the Norfolk Coastal path.
Around 40 intrepid explorers, including staff members, family, friends (and dogs), will take on the challenge in the hope of raising money for Steph’s Wishes, a Hertfordshire-based charity that provides ‘Memory Days’ to young adults who have been diagnosed with recurring or terminal cancer.
Steph’s Wishes was set up in the name of Stephanie Knight, who tragically lost her battle to Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that grows in bones or the soft tissue around bones, in 2013.
The team will embark on the epic sponsored walk on Saturday 18th May, starting at Cromer and working their way towards Hunstanton over the course of two days.
Tahsin Chasmawala, a member of Nockolds’ Charity Committee, commented: ‘Steph’s Wishes is an incredible charity which supports young adults who are fighting the ultimate battle. We’re delighted to have so many people willing to get involved’.
This isn’t the first time the team at Nockolds Solicitors have put on their walking boots to raise money for charity. In the past, staff have undertaken a walking challenge from the Bishop’s Stortford office in Market Square, to the London office in Liverpool Street.
‘We’re hoping for the same, if not more, success as our last walking challenge which everyone completed – but not without some blisters!’ said Tahsin. ‘Hopefully we’ll be able to raise a fantastic amount of money to really help this worthwhile cause’.
