Having an injury caused at work can often be disastrous particularly when it is through active and labour-based work. The injuries can be significant and the ability to return to the place where it occurred and carry on the work can be both traumatic and physically difficult.
The cause of the incident and the injuries, the type of work you were doing and trying to get back to varies hugely case on case. There is no standard path when it comes to recovery from such an injury but the stress involved trying to get back to work can be enormous. In the worst cases, you may be in a position where you are not going to be able to return to the work you were doing before or at least not to the same degree.
