Travelling Abroad this Summer? Who Should You Call?

A couple of points to make before you get the roof box on your car and get ready to drive to the Channel Tunnel or the ferry.

The first issue is to remember which number to ring if you need emergency assistance. We all know 999 for the UK, and 911 for the United States. In Europe you need to dial 112.

Secondly, do not forget your old GB sticker on your car is now incorrect signage. Will we ever see the back of Brexit? You need a UK sticker or badge. Buy a magnetic one online before you go to avoid spending too much at the crossing shop.

You also need to consider European breakdown cover. When you renew, remember that the main providers are in competition so try and get a deal. It could save you a lot of money and give you peace of mind.

All ready to go? – Do not forget the dog!
